Participants learn to:
- Discuss performance problems without creating hostility
- Reward and encourage effective performance
Solving Performance Problems that are Motivation-Based
Participants learn to:
- Recognize problems that are due to a lack of motivation
- Coach or motivate people to improve performance
- Stimulate internal motivations in order to sustain performance
Solving Problems that are Ability-Based
Participants learn to:
- Distinguish between problems that are due to lack of motivation and ability
- Involve employees in solving problems that are reducing productivity/performance
- Resolve long-term problems
Time Commitment
Although there are a variety of ways of implementing the training, for maximum impact a schedule of two half-day sessions a week apart is ideal.
