Managing Working Relationships
Managing Working Relationships Training Workshop
Increasing Interpersonal Effectiveness by Capitalizing on Style Differences
Workshop Overview
This workshop improves interpersonal effectiveness in all types of work situations, including: managing others, working collaboratively in team/project situations, sales situations, consulting relationships, etc. A Social Styles model is utilized that points out behavioral patterns that affect interpersonal relationships with people at all levels of an organization.
Once individuals understand, value, and appreciate diverse behavioral styles, they are able to adjust their behavior to gain greater credibility from others and create mutually productive interactions. Each participant will leave with a clear action plan for making their working relationships, with people inside and outside the organization, more productive.

By attending this workshop, participants will:
- work more effectively in diverse teams
- build interpersonal relationships

Workshop Activities & Materials
Participants receive a 360° Social Style Profile that reports both a self-perception score and feedback from their co-workers, peers, and boss. This profile helps participants understand the strengths of their Social Style position, how they perceive themselves, and how others perceive them.
The Profile also explores an individual’s level of Versatility – how well he/she interacts with others. Participants learn strategies for increasing their Versatility – the key to increasing interpersonal effectiveness and productivity.
The workshop is ideally delivered in a one-day format. It can also be delivered over the course of two half-days.
Who Should Attend
This workshop is intended for “people managers,” project managers, and for anyone who has major customer contact in sales, negotiation, or training situations.
