Why It's Needed
Today’s marketplace is being buffeted by historic dislocations – economic, technological, societal, and political. At the same time, these events are creating new opportunities. In this tumultuous environment, entire segments of the marketplace are being redefined. A limited number of today's market leaders will continually adapt, reinvent themselves and prosper, while the remainder will be displaced by nimbler competitors. It is the ability to continually adapt and change that will ensure long-term survival, competitiveness, and profitability.
Adaptive organizations must be guided by leaders who are able to shape the context for change, who serve as effective role models, and who understand when and how to guide the organization in new directions. We work with leaders to assist them in developing and applying their skills in these areas.
Guided and supported by their leaders, stakeholders throughout the organization must continually work to ensure that their environment, their interpersonal interactions, and their work processes support continuous change. We work with leaders and their organizations to build and execute strategies and skills that enable the capacity for adapting to change.
Developing Adaptive Skills
Leadership Associates has more than twenty years of experience working with key stakeholders in diverse industries facilitating major change initiatives. It is critical that the leaders and key staff who will be leading a major change effort set aside a significant amount of time to meet and plan the implementation strategy. During these planning sessions, they must assess organization-specific issues related to change, transition, culture, and resistance. And, they need to clarify their respective roles and identify the actions that each person must take to provide leadership and to ensure a successful change.

Getting Started
How do we get started? We normally begin with a no-cost and no obligation get-acquainted meeting.
We typically begin our work with clients by meeting with your senior leadership team to preliminarily assess the current state of the enterprise, identify the key change objectives and drivers, and the change readiness of the organization. We then work with your leaders to plan and execute a targeted strategy for increasing the ability of the organization to adapt to and implement the change. We'll want to hear about your goals, needs, and organizational issues and you will want to get comfortable with us.
